Decent, but fell apart quickly,
by AGM52, 2010-02-04

The only initial issue was that the talk/mute button rattled when walking. This could be heard by the person on the other end of the line as well as reverberating in my ears due to the noise isolation. Nothing taping it down couldn't fix.

After owning these for only a couple months I was pulling off the rubber noise isolator, and the entire "speaker" came out of the housing. I fixed it with super glue with minimal effects, just changed the sound a little bit. I later lost one of these noise isolators so I had to try one of the replacements of a different size. Didn't really fit my ear, so once you lose one, you are in trouble.

About 9 months in, I started getting static in one of the earbuds. This escalated to the earbud cutting in and out. Extremely annoying and disorienting.

When new and working properly, I thought they were pretty good. I feel that 9 months is a little short for a lifespan on headphones. I would look for a different pair.

Great for the two months they lasted,

Well.....

I bought it in March of '09. Was reasonably happy with the sound quality - though the cloth wrap that was supposed to keep the cord from getting kinked ended up causeing noise in the earpiece - ironically made worse by the decent sound isolation from everything else.

Not even two months later, shortly after the bridge run in Charleston, the left side went out.

I've called Logitech multiple times, and have been repeatedly offered a RMA label to get a replacement, and one has never arrived.

A total. Waste. of. money.

very good headphones,
by heavy amazon user, 2010-02-02

After very disappointing experience with two crappy sets of Sennheiser MM50 Earbuds / Headset (iPhone Compatible) (which were 100 bucks when I bought them), I decided to try these. They work great. Like the Sennheiser, they come with an assortment of different-sized bud covers so that you can find your perfect fit. Unlike the sennheiser, these buds actually stay on (I must have lost 8 pair of those bud covers). The mike works great--I use it not just for phone calls but for voice memos (and so I know what I sound like using it--sound is very clear). The noise reduction is no joke, which is nice for airplanes, but risks making you speak in very high volumes to people you see while you have them in your ear (whether talking on the phone or listening to music). This could just be because I have smallish ears, though.

I say they are a great deal; several steps above the standard-issue iphone set, and far better than other, more expensive buds.

Good for only few months,

Buy this product only if you want to use it for just few months as it becomes unusable after that.

Yep, Poor Durability,
by B. Hunsaker, 2009-11-21

They lasted six months before the ear buds fell apart. Cloth cord rubbing against anything ruins the music you're listening to. Sound was very good and the mic allowed clear phone calls - until it broke.
