Ipod vent holder,

Very flimsy...not as advertised...didn't work very well with my vents in my 2008 Mitsibishi Outlander. Ended up snipping off the arms and clips and just velcroed the swivel mount plate to dash...wouldn't reccommend...very disappointed
Not Bad... Especially For The Price,

This product does what it says. It's a little tricky to insert into the vents on my car and the unit actually dislodged a clip that makes the vents operate properly. That said, it does a nice job of holding the phone in place and offers unlimited adjustments for proper viewing angles. I tried the holder in a couple of rental cars and it did the job. I would recommend this product with the caveat that you will need patience to get it in place properly and even then it might cause some minor damage to your vents.

I bought a similar product from a major retail store for 5 dollars it looked crappy in my van didn't hold my iPhone securely at all and broke after 2 days of use. This product on the other hand is a nice looking addition to my minivan, it is a nice snug fit for the iPhone, it holds my iPhone in a great viewing position, it doesn't affect the airflow of my heat of air, which is what concerned me before purchasing. When pulling the iPhone out of the mount it can have the tendency to pop out of its position in the vent but a little push back and its fine. All in all a great product for the price.

I purchased this item and i'm 95% happy with it. It fits great and tight on my 2007 bmw 335i coupe. It hold's my iPhone3GS and i'm really happy. Now i can see people calling me as soon as they call instead of me looking for my phone, which can cause accidents.
The ONLY thing i find annoying, is that from there the vent is to the phone it's like 4-5 inches apart. I think that is way to much space. If you don't know what i mean, here's an EXAMPLE. Not to be taken literal. Let's say i can turn the volume up and down on my car by STRETCHING my arm/hand to the volume control... Well after this item is in place, i don't even have to bend my arm to get to it.
I think there is to much unneeded gap in between the vent and where the phone actually sits. BUT that's with all the phone mounts i've seen so no biggie. Item came packaged well and fast.
